Educational Qualification :

Chargeman (Mechanic) : (I) Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical or Electronics or Production Engineering from a perceived University or Institute and; (ii) Two years of working background in quality control or quality affirmation or testing or confirmation in the territory of structure or creation or Maintenance of Engineering hardware or framework from a perceived association.

Chargeman (Ammunition & Explosive) : Recognition in concoction building from a perceived college or foundation with two years of involvement in quality control or quality affirmation or testing or confirmation in the territory of synthetic designing or preparing from a perceived association.

Age Limit : 18 to 30 years as on 26 May 2019 SC/ST: 05, OBC: 03 years Relaxation

Fee : Gen/OBC: Rs. 205/- SC/ST/PwBDs/Ex-Servicemen: No fee.

1. Indian Navy invites applications from eligible candidates to apply ON-LINE through website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in for the post of Chargeman (Mechanic) and Chargeman (Ammunition & Explosive) classified as Group 'B', 'Non-Industrial', Non- Gazetted in Pay Level - 6 at various Commands (application in other forms of mailing will not be accepted). Selected candidates would be posted to various Naval Armament Inspectorate (NAI) units at Depots/ Ordnance Factories/ DRDO labs/Quasi Military Establishments to undertake inspection/QA activities. The functional duties would involve sailing on-board Indian Navy platforms and handling of Explosives and Ordnance.
