ICDS Mukhya Sevika Result 2025 – Full Details

The Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) scheme is one of India’s largest and most important programs under the Ministry of Women and Child Development. It provides vital services for child nutrition, early education, and women’s welfare through a vast network of Anganwadi centers. To manage these centers effectively, every year the ICDS conducts recruitment for various posts, including Anganwadi Workers, Helpers, Supervisors, and Mukhya Sevika (Supervisor).

In Maharashtra, thousands of women aspire to become Supervisors under the ICDS, as it is a secure government job with social importance. The ICDS Mukhya Sevika Result 2025 has now been declared for candidates who appeared for the written exam conducted earlier this year.

When was the exam conducted?

The written examination for the Mukhya Sevika post was organized across various districts in Maharashtra on multiple dates in February and March 2025 — specifically on the 14th, 22nd, 23rd, 26th, and 27th of February and 2nd March 2025. Due to the high number of applicants, the exam was conducted in multiple phases.

The exam was objective type (MCQ) and computer-based, covering general awareness, child development, nutrition, ICDS schemes, administration, and other relevant topics.

Next Stage: Document Verification

Candidates shortlisted in the Merit List must appear for Document Verification (DV). This is a crucial step where the original documents are checked to verify eligibility. Documents required include:

• 10th, 12th, and Graduation certificates

• Caste certificate (for reserved categories)

• Domicile certificate

• Photo ID proof (Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, etc.)

• Experience certificate (if applicable)

• Other relevant certificates as mentioned in the notification

Candidates must carry both originals and self-attested photocopies. Any mismatch or invalid document can lead to disqualification.

Appointment & Role

Once the Document Verification process is complete and the final selection list is approved, appointment letters will be issued by the respective District ICDS Offices. Selected candidates will be posted as Mukhya Sevika (Supervisor) in the assigned Anganwadi project areas.

A Mukhya Sevika supervises the work of Anganwadi Workers and Helpers, monitors nutrition distribution, health check-ups, pre-school education, and keeps records and reports up to date. The post carries significant responsibility in ensuring the welfare of children under six years and pregnant/lactating mothers.
