IBPS CRP CSA-XV Recruitment 2025 – Job Description

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the Common Recruitment Process (CRP) notification for the post of Customer Service Associate (CSA) in public sector banks. This recruitment is for the financial year 2026–27. The selection process will be carried out through online exams conducted by IBPS.

Customer Service Associate (CSA) is a clerical cadre post in various participating banks across India. Selected candidates will be responsible for providing support to customers, handling transactions, and ensuring smooth branch operations. The job is state-wise, and candidates can apply for only one state or union territory.

The online registration process for IBPS CRP CSA-XV will begin from 1st August 2025 and will continue till 21st August 2025. Candidates are required to submit their application forms and pay the application fee online through the official IBPS website: www.ibps.in.

The recruitment will be based on two stages of online exams – Preliminary and Main. Candidates who qualify in the Preliminary exam will be eligible to appear in the Main exam. Marks obtained in the Main exam will be considered for final merit and provisional allotment.

Applicants must have a graduation degree in any discipline from a university recognized by the Government of India. They should also be proficient in the local language of the state for which they are applying. Basic computer knowledge is mandatory.

The age of the candidate should be between 20 and 28 years as on 1st August 2025. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved category candidates as per government norms. SC/ST candidates get 5 years, OBC (non-creamy layer) get 3 years, and PwBD candidates get up to 10 years relaxation.

The application fee is ₹175 for SC/ST/PwBD/ESM candidates and ₹850 for all others. The fee is non-refundable and must be paid online during the application process. Bank transaction charges will be borne by the candidates.

The Preliminary Examination will consist of 100 objective-type questions divided into English Language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability. The total duration of the exam will be 60 minutes, with 20 minutes allotted to each section.

The Main Examination will have 155 questions covering General/Financial Awareness, General English, Reasoning Ability, and Quantitative Aptitude. The total duration will be 120 minutes, and the total marks will be 200.

Candidates will have to qualify in each section of both Preliminary and Main exams. Negative marking of 0.25 marks will be applied for every wrong answer. Only the marks obtained in the Main exam will be considered for final selection.

After the exams, shortlisted candidates will be provisionally allotted to one of the participating banks based on merit, preference, and availability of vacancies. The final appointment will depend on document verification and medical fitness.

Selected candidates will receive a basic salary starting at ₹24,050 per month, with allowances such as DA, HRA, and other benefits as per bank rules. The gross salary may vary from ₹30,000 to ₹35,000 depending on the location and bank.

Candidates must have a clean credit history and no adverse reports in CIBIL or any credit bureau. A good financial record is important as per the policy of participating banks. Candidates may need to submit proof of clearance if required.
