Job Description 

The High Explosives Factory (HEF), Khadki, Pune, which operates under Munitions India Limited and the Ministry of Defence, has invited applications for the engagement of personnel on a tenure basis. This recruitment drive is being conducted to fill a total of 91 vacancies for the posts of Supervisory Staff and Skilled Worker (AOCP).

The Supervisory Staff post is intended for candidates with a background in Chemical Engineering. Applicants must possess a BE/B.Tech degree in Chemical Engineering or must have completed apprenticeship training in the relevant field. These candidates will be responsible for supervising manufacturing processes, handling explosives and hazardous chemicals, and ensuring safety and quality standards within the factory environment.

The Skilled Worker (AOCP) post is open to candidates who have completed NAC/NTC certification from NCVT in AOCP or Chemical Plant Operator trade. These workers will be involved in operational activities related to manufacturing, handling explosives, and maintaining industrial machinery used in production processes.

The selection process for Supervisory Staff will be based on marks obtained in BE/B.Tech and performance in personal interviews. For Skilled Workers, selection will be based on NCVT marks along with Trade Test or Practical Test performance. Candidates who qualify in these stages will be called for document verification before final selection.

The engagement will be on a tenure basis, initially for one year, which may be extended up to a maximum of four years depending on the requirements of the factory and the performance of the candidate. It is important to note that this engagement does not guarantee permanent employment, and there will be no claim for absorption into regular service.

Selected candidates will receive consolidated remuneration as per the post. Skilled Workers will get a starting pay around Rs. 19,900 plus allowances, while Supervisory Staff will be paid as per industrial pay scales along with applicable allowances. Additional benefits such as EPF, bonus, risk allowance, and leave facilities will be provided as per applicable rules.
