HAL Apprentice Recruitment 2026

Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), Barrackpore has released an official notification for engagement of Engineering Graduates, General Graduates and Diploma Apprentices for the training year 2026–27 under the Apprentices Act, 1961. This apprenticeship program aims to provide young professionals with hands-on industrial training and practical exposure in India’s leading aerospace organization.

The apprenticeship training will be conducted at HAL Barrackpore, West Bengal. The duration of training will be one year, during which selected candidates will receive practical learning in their respective disciplines under the guidance of experienced professionals. This program helps candidates enhance technical knowledge, improve employability, and gain valuable industry experience.

Nature of Engagement

This is a purely training-based apprenticeship. After completion of the apprenticeship period, the contract will automatically terminate and HAL will have no obligation to provide employment to the apprentices.

Available Disciplines

The recruitment includes the following categories:

• Technician (Diploma) Apprentices

• General Stream Graduate Apprentices

• Engineering Graduate Apprentices

Eligibility

Candidates must have completed their Degree or Diploma from a recognized university or board. Only candidates who passed their qualifying examination in 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 or 2025 are eligible to apply. Candidates with more than one year of work experience or already registered for apprenticeship elsewhere are not eligible.

Selection Method

Selection will be made purely on merit basis based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
There will be no written test and no interview.

Stipend

Selected apprentices will receive monthly stipend as per the provisions of the Apprentices Act 1961 and subsequent government amendments.

How to Apply

Interested and eligible candidates must appear for the Walk-In selection on the prescribed dates with all original documents for verification. Prior registration on the NATS 2.0 portal is compulsory before attending the walk-in.

• Only Indian nationals are eligible.

• Candidates must possess original or provisional certificates by 31 December 2025.

• Submission of false information will lead to cancellation of candidature.

• HAL reserves the right to modify the recruitment process and number of vacancies at any stage.
