Maharashtra Fire Service Academy (MFSA) & The State Fire Training Center (SFTC), Mumbai offers an opportunity to young and dynamic youth to pursue their career as a “OFFICER” as well as “FIREMAN” in the field of Fire Service. Both the course are Residential Course; Fireman -06 Months (Jan-June & July-Dec) & Officer -01 Yr (Jan-December), which will help to build a strong foundation of career oriented and will help to make a bright career in Public and Industrial Fire & Emergency Services.

This Course is designed and developed to create the versatile feeder cadre of professional Fire fighters for public and industrial Fire Services. Though, the said course is mainly male dominated course, but for the first time the institution is attempting to impart training to female candidate for fireman course. The female batch will only be conducted if 30 Nos. of female eligible candidates are able to complete the admission process.
