Job Description 

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has released the official notification for Direct Recruitment of Senior Executive Trainees (SET) in Telecom and Finance streams from external candidates for the year 2026. This recruitment aims to fill executive-level positions in BSNL to strengthen its technical and financial operations across India.

The selected candidates will be appointed as Senior Executive Trainee (DR) and will undergo mandatory training as per BSNL norms. After successful completion of training, candidates will be absorbed in the E-3 IDA Pay Scale. During the training period, candidates will be paid a consolidated stipend as prescribed by BSNL.

The recruitment process will be conducted through a Computer Based Test (CBT) consisting of a Common Aptitude Test and a Technical / Professional Knowledge Test related to the respective stream (Telecom or Finance). There will be negative marking for incorrect answers. Final merit will be prepared based on marks obtained in the examination, subject to qualifying marks decided by BSNL.

Candidates selected for the post of Senior Executive Trainee will be liable to be posted anywhere in India, depending on organizational requirements. The appointment carries a minimum service bond of five years from the date of joining after successful training.
