Nature of Appointment

The selected candidates will be appointed as Trainee Engineer-I or Trainee Officer-I initially for a period of two years, which may be extended by one more year based on performance and project requirements. High-performing candidates may be upgraded to higher trainee levels or Project Engineer roles as per BEL policy

Job Location & Responsibilities

Selected candidates may be posted anywhere in India, including Delhi-NCR, Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Port Blair, Shillong, and other strategic project locations. They must be willing to travel frequently and work at customer project sites as required by BEL

The role involves:

• Working on defence and strategic electronic projects

• Supporting system development, testing, and implementation

• Handling project documentation and technical operations

• Coordinating with internal teams and client organizations

Salary & Benefits

Monthly Remuneration: ₹30,000 (Consolidated)
Additional benefits include:

• 10% Area Allowance for site postings

• ₹12,000 per year towards insurance premium, uniform, footwear, and other allowances

Performance-based increments for higher trainee levels are also applicable

 Selection Process

Selection will be done through a written examination of 100 marks with negative marking.
Minimum qualifying marks:

• 35% – UR/EWS/OBC

• 30% – SC/ST/PwBD

The written test carries 100% weightage in final selection

 Eligibility

Applicants must hold:

• B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc Engineering (4 years) for Trainee Engineer-I

• MBA (Finance) for Trainee Officer-I
  All qualifications must be from AICTE/UGC recognized institutions with Pass Class. Final year students are not eligible
