Nature of Job

This is not a permanent job. The engagement is strictly under the Apprentices Act, 1961.
The selected candidates will undergo practical and on-the-job training in different branches and offices of Bank of Maharashtra.

The apprenticeship focuses on:

• Banking operations

• Customer service

• Office administration

• Clerical and operational assistance

• Practical exposure to banking environment

Training Details

• Training Hours: 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM

• Location: State-wise posting across India

• Mode of Training: Classroom + On-the-Job practical training

• Stipend: ₹12,300 per month (No additional allowances)

Key Responsibilities of Apprentice

During the apprenticeship period, the apprentice will:

• Assist in daily banking operations

• Support customer service activities

• Help in clerical & documentation work

• Learn banking procedures & compliance

• Gain real-time experience in financial services

• Work under supervision of bank officials

Important Conditions

• This apprenticeship does not guarantee employment after completion

• No claim for permanent job shall be entertained

• No hostel, transport, or accommodation will be provided

• Apprentice must follow all rules of the Apprentices Act, 1961

Eligibility Summary

• Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline

• Age: 20 to 28 years (with relaxation as per rules)

• Must be proficient in local language of the applied State/UT

Certification After Training

After successful completion of training and passing the test conducted by the National Council, apprentices will receive a Certificate of Proficiency.

Selection Process

Selection is purely merit-based:

• Based on marks obtained in 12th/Diploma

• State-wise merit list

• Document verification & medical fitness mandatory

Legal & Contract Terms

Apprentices will sign an official Contract of Apprenticeship with the Bank.
Any premature termination may require repayment of training costs.
