Cross-selling bundled banking products during acquisition and promoting the bank’s digital channels for activation and usage are essential parts of the job.

In addition to customer acquisition, Local Bank Officers will collaborate closely with branch teams and backend departments to ensure smooth processing of applications, documentation, and issue resolution. They must maintain accurate sales reports, customer databases, and performance dashboards. They will be responsible for adhering to the Bank’s internal control policies, KYC norms, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) guidelines, and all regulatory compliance measures during onboarding and servicing. Officers must also participate actively in marketing campaigns, local outreach drives, and promotional activities organized by the bank to increase its footprint and brand awareness in their respective regions.

To be eligible, candidates must hold a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institute. Professional qualifications like Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant, Engineering, or Medical degrees are also accepted. Candidates must possess a minimum of one year of post-qualification experience as an officer in a Scheduled Commercial Bank or Regional Rural Bank. Experience from NBFCs, cooperative banks, payment banks, small finance banks, or fintechs will not be considered. Applicants must be proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the local language of the state for which they apply. The age limit for applicants is between 21 and 30 years as on 1st July 2025, with relaxation in the upper age limit for reserved categories like SC, ST, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), PwBD, Ex-Servicemen, and persons affected by the 1984 riots, as per government norms.

The selection process includes an online examination, a psychometric test, and a Group Discussion (GD) and/or Personal Interview (PI) for shortlisted candidates.
