The Airports Authority of India (AAI), a Government of India Public Sector Enterprise and a Mini Ratna Category-I organization, has released its latest recruitment notification Advt. No. 09/2025/CHQ for the appointment of Junior Executives through GATE 2023, 2024, and 2025 scores. A total of 976 vacancies are available across various engineering disciplines. The post-wise breakup is as follows:

• Junior Executive (Engineering-Electrical) – 208 Posts
• Junior Executive (Electronics) – 527 Posts
• Junior Executive (Information Technology) – 31 Posts

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and registered with the Council of Architecture.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology in Civil.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology in Electrical.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology in Electronics/Telecommunications/Electrical with specialization in Electronics.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technical in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/IT/Electronics OR MCA.

Applicants must have qualified in the relevant GATE 2023, 2024, or 2025 paper.

Age Limit

The maximum age is 27 years as on 27.09.2025. Age relaxation is applicable as follows: 3 years for OBC, 5 years for SC/ST, and 10 years for PwBD candidates where applicable.

Application Fee

The application fee is ₹300 for UR, OBC, and EWS candidates. SC, ST, PwBD, and female candidates, as well as apprentices who have completed one year of training in AAI, are exempt from the fee.

Selection Process

The selection will be based on GATE score merit, followed by application verification. Equal weightage will be given to GATE 2023, 2024, and 2025 scores. Candidates must produce original documents at the time of verification.

Pay Scale and Benefits

Junior Executives will be appointed at the E-1 level with a pay scale of ₹40,000-3%-1,40,000. In addition to basic pay, employees will receive Dearness Allowance, perks at 35% of basic pay, HRA, CPF, gratuity, medical benefits, and more. The total annual CTC is approximately ₹13 lakh.
